George Hardey



George joined the firm in 1999 as a Tax Senior, qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2003. He is a director of the firm and our Head of Tax, specialising in Income, Corporation, Capital Gains and Inheritance Tax planning, the taxation of landlords, use of trusts and tax efficient structures, expatriate taxation, business acquisitions, sales and reorganisations, capital allowance claims for commercial properties, support with HMRC investigations, establishing claims for Research & Development Tax Relief and succession planning for families and their businesses, including working alongside solicitors and other professionals.

George is our farming, landed estates and agricultural specialist, providing up to date, all round accountancy and tax advice to our rural community, focusing on tax planning for Personal Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax, including the all-important agricultural reliefs.

George is a keen golfer, has passion for fast cars and motorsport, and discovered a new hobby during lock down photographing anything that flies or crawls above or around the garden!
